Hi, my name is Greg Holthaus. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me. I started my real estate career as a private investor and developer in 2005. During that time period I bought and sold many properties and developed a rental portfolio and further fell in love with Real Estate. For this reason I decided to take my career to the next level and started taking the knowledge that I obtained as a private investor, and then used it to help others and became a Real Estate professional to offer the skills that I learned from negotiations, to identifying a quality home and started using these skills to help others as a Real Estate Broker. I currently own and operate two Coldwell Banker offices. One in Carbondale, and another in Herrin, Illinois so that I can effectively serve both Williamson and Jackson Counties. One of the reasons a Real Estate Broker is successful in todays market is knowing how to utilize online marketing tools. In today’s real estate market not only do you have to have the computer skills necessary to be successful at marketing your product online. I also feel that is important to use someone who has real life experience, and superior negotiation skills when dealing with any real estate transaction. Why trust that to just anyone? So many times people know a friend who sells Real Estate or a family member, and that is great if you do. However, its always a good idea and I highly recommend you interview multiple Brokers, and see who gives you the very best feeling based on their local market knowledge and marketing solutions. So many people are now in this competitive field and many times I find my self saying that there is a new game being played out there and you can be the very best at a game that is no longer played or learn the new game. I feel that that skills and assets I have learned from real world experience, coupled with the marketing of Coldwell Banker Prime Realty you will find that if given the chance you will see that we have learned the new game. I would also like to take the time to mention that I also specialize in commercial assessments and sales in Southern Illinois.
